Andrea Golden

Andrea Golden represents PODER Emma Community Power (PODER Emma) in Seed Common’s Full Member Assembly, on the Board, and on the Sustainability Committee and has served in those roles since May 2021. Andrea is Director of Cooperative Development at PODER Emma, a position she has held since January 2021. Previously, from October 2017 to January 2021, Andrea was the founder and original staff person for PODER Emma, which was organized in October 2017. Prior to PODER Emma, from June 2014 to October 2017, Andrea was a community organizer with the Center for Participatory Change. Andrea is also Co-Founder and staff member of the Power of the Commons and serves on the Buncombe County Comprehensive Planning Steering Committee.
