Seed Commons works because our local network members are able to leverage national-scale financial infrastructure to deliver the non-extractive capital their communities need. We periodically open applications for network membership, and are always excited to hear about potential candidate organizations.

In particular, we are looking for organizations that:

• Have a commitment to racial justice as a core operating principle
• Want to shift real power to workers through cooperative development
• Bring an ambitious but practical larger vision of a democratic economy to the table
• Are ready to commit to the multi-year process of organizational training and apprenticeship that leads to full membership in Seed Commons
